Leading insurer, Allianz Australia, won the National Service Provider Award at this year’s Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) Excellence Awards. The awards recognise individuals and organisations that enhance the industry through the development of best practice initiatives and innovation.
Held in Melbourne on Thursday 14 July, the awards are the most prominent in the Australian Mortgage and Finance Industry and are judged by an independent panel of business professionals and experts.
The award was presented to Allianz in recognition of the Allianz Referral Program, which provides mortgage brokers with a no-advice spot-and-refer model that allows finance brokers to refer customers to Allianz for their home, landlord and motor insurance.
Commenting on Allianz’s success, Chief General Manager, Retail Distribution, Michael Winter, said “We are pleased to win the National Service Provider Award and to be recognised for our excellence amongst a strong field of Australia’s best known financial service companies.”
“Allianz continually seeks to provide our customers and business partners with innovative products and services and to deliver them in ways that suit changing technologies and customer preferences.
“The referral program was first developed in 2008 allowing brokers to offer their customers additional value. It has since delivered outstanding results for brokers and their customers,” he said.
“Winning the National Service Provider Award validates the exceptional work that the Allianz Team is doing with our partners. I am proud of the team and applaud their dedication to delivering an exceptional customer service, what we like to call ‘The Allianz Experience’,” concluded Mr Winter.
Allianz were also winners at the NSW and Queensland State Awards, announced earlier this year.
