Whether we can arrange a rental car depends on which policy you have and if you were at fault.
If you’ve got Comprehensive Insurance and have taken out the optional rental car after any covered incident cover, you’ll receive a rental car.
We can also arrange a rental car under both policies if you weren’t at fault and have the following information:
Before you book a rental car, call us for approval on 13 10 13. If you book without approval, we’ll pay for rental car costs up to the amount we would have authorised. If your car is safe to drive or isn’t at a repair shop, we won’t arrange a hire car.
When you combine Buildings and Contents on one Home Insurance policy, you can get a discount of up to 10% on your premium. This discount also applies to the optional Motor Burnout and Accidental Damage covers. However, the combined discount doesn’t apply to Landlord policies, any flood component of the premium, or to the optional cover Portable contents.2,3
Life Insurance doesn't have a traditional renewal process like other types of insurance. This is because Life Insurance policies have continuous contracts. Your contract will continue until your policy expires, or you cancel it, or it lapses due to non-payment.
As you don’t need to renew your Life Insurance, your premiums will continue. We’ll deduct your payments on a monthly or annual direct debit from your credit card or bank account.
If you need to update your details, call us on 13 1000.
