    Covers accidental damage to third-party property by you or your employees if you’re in a road accident caused by your vehicle while on the job. Also protects your business vehicle(s) with cover for loss caused by damage or theft when you select Comprehensive cover.
  • General Property

    Protect your portable tools and professional equipment with cover for accidental damage or theft from a break-in, anywhere in the world (unless otherwise noted on your policy schedule).
  • Commercial Property

    Protect your shop or office building, contents and stock with cover for accidental damage from unexpected insured events, such as a fire, storm, or vandalism.
  • Business Interruption

    Covers your lost income, profits or turnover as a result of interruption to your business caused by insured unforeseen defined events, such as a fire.
  • Glass

    Protect your shop front with cover for accidental damage to glass at your premises, including temporary security costs to keep your business safe while your glass is repaired or replaced.

    Covers property insured such as your stock or equipment for loss caused by theft if there is visible or forced entry to your business premises.

Public Liability Insurance, also known as Public and Products Liability Insurance is automatically included with every Business Insurance Pack when quoting online.

Public and Products Liability covers:

  • Costs that you’re legally liable to pay as a result of injury to members of the general public at your business premises or in relation to your business activity.
  • Costs you’re liable to pay associated with damage to someone else’s property, whether a physical premises (such as a building) or an item they own.
  • Other third-party expenses such as legal fees.

Can help cover your costs if your business car or vehicle is in a road accident.

Key cover inclusions:

  • A choice of three levels of cover: Comprehensive, Fire and Theft, or Third Party Property Damage only.
  • Up to $30 million for amounts which you become legally liable to pay as compensation for loss or damage to a third party’s property caused by a vehicle accident which is partly or fully your fault.
  • Replacement or repair of your business car or vehicle if it suffers loss or damage as a result of specified events (not applicable to Third Party Property Damage only).
  • Insure up to two vehicles online, or up to 20 vehicles when you call us on  1300 131 000.

Protection for portable property insured, such as your stock or hand tools in the event of accidental damage and theft from a break-in.

Key cover inclusions:

  • We’ll repair or replace the damaged item. 
  • Worldwide cover (unless otherwise noted).
  • Cover for unspecified items – up to $2,500 for any one item, subject to the maximum sum insured for all items in any one event.
  • Theft cover for third-party property in your custody or control – up to $2,000 per period of insurance.

Covers you for accidental damage to your property insured, such as your business premises, contents and stock at the insured location from unexpected insured events like a storm, fire or vandalism.

Key cover inclusions:

  • Cover to replace or repair your business stock, contents and premises up to the sum insured.
  • Cover for up to $15,000 per event or $5,000 per person for accidental damage to employees’ and directors’ personal property at the insured situation. 
  • Other costs such as demolition and debris removal, temporary repairs and firefighting and local authority fees associated with permit and approval charges. 

Covers your lost income, profits or turnover as a result of interruption to your business caused by insured unforeseen defined events, such as a fire.

Key cover inclusions:

  • A choice of which part of your business shortfalls to cover: weekly income, business turnover, or loss of gross profits.
  • Temporary cover for any additional premises you acquire within Australia to operate your business provided we’re notified of the use or acquisition within 30 days.

Note: In order to add Business Interruption Insurance to your Business Insurance Pack, you’ll need to buy Commercial Property cover.

Cover for the repair or replacement of glass accidentally broken at your business premises, including up to $1,000 for stock damaged by the broken glass.

Key cover inclusions:

  • Internal glass, showcases and other fixed internal glass.
  • External glass windows, doors, showcases or skylights forming part of the building.
  • Cover for breakage of illuminated/advertising signs up to $2,500 per period of insurance.
  • Cover for the cost of temporary repairs, including shutter installation and employment of watchmen or guards.

Covers property insured such as your stock or equipment for loss caused by theft if there is visible or forced entry to your business premises.

Key cover inclusions:

  • We’ll repair or replace, or pay you the sum insured for, the stolen item.
  • Repair of damage to your building that occurs during the theft e.g. replacement of locks.
  • The cost of temporary protection and watchmen up to $5,000 per event.
  • Up to a 50% increase in cover for stock during seasonal increase periods.

Covers the cost to repair or replace electronic equipment at your business premises, such as computers, in case of breakdown.

Key cover inclusions:

  • Cost to either repair or replace your electronic equipment following a breakdown.
  • Costs toward the hire of temporary equipment while yours is being repaired.
  • Options to purchase additional cover for restoring data, or for the increased costs of working due to disruption, following a breakdown.

Covers the replacement of money stolen from your business premises during business hours, or outside business hours, while locked in a safe or strongroom, in transit or in your custody at a private residence.

Key cover inclusions:

  • Money lost due to accidental loss, destruction or theft, fraud or dishonesty by employees up to $1,000 per period of insurance.
  • Up to a 50% increase in money cover during seasonal increase periods.

Helps cover the cost of repair or replacement of insured property, such as stock, that is damaged due to a specified event during transit anywhere in Australia.

Three levels of cover to choose from:

  • Fire, collision and overturning
  • Fire, collision and overturning and theft
  • All Risks not excluded (our broadest Goods In Transit cover)

Contains four covers to choose from, protecting your business against:

  • Claims of wrongful acts by you, your company directors or management (Directors and Officers Liability)
  • Claims of employment practises breaches, such as wrongful dismissal or discrimination (Employment Practises Liability)
  • Theft of property by employees (Crime)
  • Cover for fees incurred if your taxes are audited (Tax Audit)

Covers the cost of repair or replacement of your business machinery if it suffers a breakdown.

Key cover inclusions:

  • Cover available for a range of electrical and mechanical machinery, pressure vessels and pressure pipe systems. For example, ovens, air conditioners and boilers.
  • Costs toward the hire of temporary machinery while yours is being repaired.

  1. Pay by the month (Payment instalments)
    Premiums payable by instalments may be subject to minor adjustments (upwards and downwards) due to rounding and financial institution transaction fees may apply.
  2. Online discount terms and conditions.
    A premium discount of up to 10% is applied to your first year's premium when you buy a new Business Insurance Pack policy online.

    Please note that the online discount doesn’t apply to Commercial Vehicle cover, Goods In Transit cover or the following Management Liability covers: Directors and Officers Insurance, Employment Practices Liability, or Crime Insurance (which are only available from our contact centre).

    This discount isn’t applied at renewal.
  3. Minimum premiums may apply
    Any discount and/or entitlements may be subject to rounding and only apply to the extent that any minimum premium isn’t reached.

    If you’re eligible for more than one discount, we apply them in a predetermined order. This means the effect of applying any subsequent discount will be applied to the reduced premium amount after applying any prior discounts. For example, the aggregate effect of applying two discounts consecutively means that you won’t see the full benefit of both these discounts.

    Discounts don’t apply to taxes or government charges. No discounts are applied to Commercial Vehicle cover.
  4. Commercial Vehicle Insurance
    Commercial Vehicle cover is only available to buy under the Business Insurance Pack if you also buy Public and Products Liability Insurance or Commercial Property under the same policy. If you don’t require Public and Products Liability Insurance, we offer a standalone Commercial Motor Insurance policy that you can consider instead.
  5. Range  of covers
    Acceptance criteria apply to each cover based on the characteristics of your business and the risks you’re looking to insure.
