A Target Market Determination (commonly known as a TMD) describes the class of customers an insurance cover has been designed for, including the key attributes of the insurance cover and the customers eligible for it.
A TMD doesn’t replace the standard terms, conditions, or disclosures set out in a Product Disclosure Statement (PDS). Before deciding to buy an insurance cover, consider the information in the PDS.
Choose your product to find the TMD that applies. If you’re unsure of the name of your specific insurance cover, you can refer to your policy documents.
