Allianz Australia’s Disaster and Recovery team will be on the ground in Victoria from today (Wednesday 14 January) to deliver vital support for customers affected by the recent bushfires.
The team will deliver face-to-face support for customers to register claims, make payments, place people in emergency and temporary accommodation and help to identify customers who may be experiencing vulnerability and need additional support.
The Disaster and Recovery Team will be available at:
- Castlemaine Town Hall, 25 Lyttleton Street, Castlemaine, from today 11am – 5pm
- Natimuk Community Centre, 62 Main Road Natimuk, from tomorrow 10am – 4pm

By Wednesday 14 January, Allianz had received 127 claims.
Scott Cooper, National Manager Disaster and Recovery, Allianz, said: “The team at Allianz is working to care for our customers and help them get back on their feet.
“Our team will be in Castlemaine from tomorrow to assist customers face-to-face. Customers don’t need to book and appointment and we can assist in understanding your policy and the claims process, and help to lodge claims, book assessments and arrange temporary accommodation if needed.
“We are aware that there could be more harmful weather for bushfire impacted areas in Victoria in the coming days, which we are monitoring closely to ensure we can support our customers.”
