Allianz welcomes ANZIIF award nomination

27 June 2016

Allianz is pleased to be announced as a finalist for the Large General Insurance Company of the Year award at the 13th annual Australian Insurance Industry Awards.

This year’s finalists comprise more than 40 of Australia’s leading companies in the insurance industry, representing 12 award categories with the winners to be revealed at a gala event in Sydney on 31 August 2016. The awards, hosted by Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, recognise the insurance industry’s commitment to delivering the highest standards of excellence, professionalism and performance.

Commenting on the announcement, Managing Director, Niran Peiris said, “Allianz is proud to be shortlisted once again for the Large General Insurance Company of the Year. In a challenging market environment, innovation and superior claims management are important differentiators, so I am especially pleased that the efforts of the team at Allianz have been recognised by the judges.

“This nomination is in recognition of Allianz’s commitment to ongoing improvement and innovation – both at an organisation and industry level,” Mr Peiris said.

“We are dedicated to listening to our customers and adapting our service to support them in their moment of need. Our employees are critical to helping us achieve this and we’re therefore committed to ongoing development and training programs. We are also focused on flexible product offerings, corporate social responsibility initiatives and value for our broker, financial institution and motor dealer partners.

“We look forward to the ANZIIF judging panel’s final decision at the Awards night on 31 August 2016.”
