Allianz Tailored Solutions

28 June 2016

Following the announcement in April of the formation of our specialist business unit, Allianz Tailored Solutions, Allianz is pleased to announce further details of the team’s structure and the role it plays in the Broker and Agency Division structure.

“Following on from my recent appointment to the role of General Manager Tailored Solutions, I am pleased to announce that the rest of the Tailored Solutions team structure has been finalised,” said Mike Pocknee.

“The team is charged with building our capability and service delivery in this important area of the market that falls between SME and the large corporate and specialty business covered by AGCS," he said.

The key products in this class include Industrial Special Risks, standalone Liability & PI, Commercial Motor Fleet and Construction & Engineering.

“To do this we have created three key portfolio areas: Property & Engineering with Rob Price at the helm; Motor, headed by Brett Lamond; and Casualty, the head of which is yet to be appointed.

Additionally, Rob Walters, as National Underwriting Manager and Michelle Tomsic as Program Manager, responsible for the development and execution of the customer experience strategy, complete the top line that report through to me,” Mike continued.

“The team has been tasked with making it simpler and more streamlined to do business with Allianz, building underwriting capability and improving service delivery across our existing distribution channels,” he explained.

“The team and I look forward to working with the market to build a leading value proposition in this segment,” concluded Mike.

The new structure will take effect from 1 July 2016.
