Allianz selected as a finalist in the 2016 MFAA Excellence Awards

3 May 2016

Allianz has been announced as a finalist across all states in this year’s Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) Excellence Awards, in the category of Support Service Provider.

The MFAA Excellence Awards are the most rigorous in the Australian Mortgage and Finance Industry and are judged by an independent panel of business professionals and experts.

The awards recognise individuals and organisations that enhance the industry through the development of best practice initiatives and innovation.

The first round of awards will be held in May and June in conjunction with the MFAA’s Broker 2020 Series. These awards are state-based and determine the finalists for the National Awards held in July.

Allianz has been recognised as a finalist for its Mortgage Broker Referral Program, a no-advice spot and refer model that enables finance brokers to refer their customers to Allianz for their home, landlord and motor insurance.

Commenting on the announcement, Dan Tully, National Manager Growth Markets, said, “We are proud to be shortlisted for this prestigious award in the Support Service Provider Category in each state. In such a dynamic industry, it’s pleasing to note that the efforts of the Referral Partnerships Program team to help brokers protect their clients’ most valuable assets have been recognised by the judging panel,” he said.

“Being a finalist for this category acknowledges the recognition of our ongoing commitment to innovation and constant focus on our brokers’ clients,” Dan concluded.

The MFAA State Awards presentation dinners will be held throughout May and June, with the National Awards to be held in Melbourne on 14 July 2016.
