Allianz employees are recognised at the 2015 Victorian WorkSafe Agent Awards

12 October 2015

Two Allianz employees, Aisling Roche and Brook Noy, have been acknowledged at the 2015 WorkSafe Agent Awards for Excellence in Personal Injury Management and Excellence in Return to Work, respectively.

The awards, hosted by WorkSafe Victoria, recognised agent employees who have made an outstanding contribution to the Victorian workers compensation industry.

Commenting on Allianz’s win, General Manager Victorian Workers Compensation, Norm Cockerell, said “I am absolutely delighted Aisling and Brook’s dedication and continued hard work has been recognised by WorkSafe.”

Aisling Roche, winner of Excellence in Personal Injury Management, introduced education initiatives and process improvements to support Allianz case managers who deal with sensitive and vulnerable mental health cases. Norm says, “Aisling’s work brings to light the important role agents play in supporting mental health cases; an unfortunate and ever increasing occurrence.”

Brook Noy was recognised for her commitment to supporting injured workers through what can be a difficult return to work journey. Brook took on responsibilities above and beyond her role and her efforts have seen significant improvements in return to work rates. Norms says, “the work Brook does with injured workers gets them back to work which ultimately improves their wellbeing and this is what’s important.”

“I am proud of Aisling and Brook, as well as our other finalists, and applaud their dedication to providing the best possible support every day. These awards acknowledge the significant work Allianz and other agents are doing in Victoria to better the lives of injured workers,” Norm concluded.
