Employer of Choice for Gender Equality

Allianz Australia’s ongoing focus to support and improve gender equality in our workplace has been recognised by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency by being awarded the Employer of Choice for Gender Equality Citation.

The new Citation has more rigorous qualification criteria than its predecessor (Employer of Choice for Women) and has been awarded to only 76 organisations in Australia this year.

The award recognises that we have implemented a number of practices at Allianz Australia to promote gender equality, including flexible work opportunities, talent management practices, as well as our local and global approach to women in senior management initiatives. These ongoing initiatives have helped us to strengthen the participation rates of women in management, retain talent and increase return to work rates following parental leave. They are important to us as part of our overall people strategy and help to attract, engage and retain employees.
