Whether it's Car, NSW CTP (Green Slip), Home, Business, Boat, or Caravan and Trailer Insurance, you can renew, make payments, or start claims online with confidence.

All you need are your Biller Reference Number (BRN) and your payment details.

The easiest way to cancel your Home or Car Insurance policy is through Allianz Chat. If your Car, Home, Landlord, or Renters Insurance policy number starts with AALHH or AALMV, you can log in to My Allianz and cancel online.

For all other policies, you can contact us to cancel your policy in two ways:

You’ll need to log in using the email address or mobile number linked to the Allianz Car or Home Insurance policy. If you’re not the policyholder, you may be able to log in if you’ve been listed as a Shared Access Contact. If you’re still having trouble logging in, your account may be locked or there may be another reason why your details don’t work. Chat with us online or give us a call on 13 1000 for help.

To change the email address or mobile number linked to your My Allianz account, you’ll need to be logged in. We’ll send a confirmation code to the phone or email already linked to the policy. If you no longer have access to your old mobile or email account, give us a call on 13 1000 and we’ll help update your details.

For security reasons, you can only change one login credential in any 24-hour period within My Allianz. If you need to change both credentials at the same time, chat with us online or give us a call on 13 1000.

You can only access Car and Home Insurance policies online through My Allianz. Depending on when you bought your policy, you may be able to do different things online.

Depending on when you bought your policy, you’ll need to access your Certificate of Currency in one of two different ways.

Log in to My Allianz and follow these steps:

  1. Click 'View Policies'
  2. View ‘Policy Details’
  3. Select 'Confirmation of Insurance'

  3. Select 'Documents'
  4. Select ‘Email Certificate of Currency' or ‘Create Certificate of Currency'

Yes. Log in to My Allianz and click ‘Get a quote’ to get started with a new Car or Home Insurance quote. You can easily save your quotes and come back to them later.

Before you cancel, you may want to talk to us about your cover. We can review your policy with you and suggest ways to help you manage your premium amount.

We’re updating My Allianz to allow you to manage more online. If your Home or Car Insurance policy number starts with AALHH or AALMV, you can cancel your policy online.

Log in to My Allianz and follow these steps:

1. Click 'All Policies'

2. Select an active policy

3. Select 'Update policy'

4. Select ''Cancel my Policy'

If you cancel your policy, we’ll send you a confirmation notice by email to tell you when your cover ends.

We can only cancel your policy without a request from you if the law allows us to. If we cancel your policy, we’ll give you notice in writing before the cancellation date either in person, by email, or by post. Our notice period is three business days for Car and Home policies. For more details about cancellations, see the PDS.

Life can change without warning, and insurance can help you look after the things you love. Check your cancellation details and your new insurance policy carefully to make sure there are no gaps in your cover. Make sure you’re not underinsured as this could result in out-of-pocket expenses if you need to make a claim. It’s important to make sure you take out adequate cover that suits your needs.

If we need to refund you, but we don’t have your bank details, we’ll contact you. We’ll send you an email or a letter, depending on your preferred contact, asking you to call us.

When you call us, we’ll ask you a few questions to make sure it’s you. We’ll never ask for your passwords or codes. Have your bank details ready and we’ll set up the digital payment to your bank account.

If we haven’t heard from you, we’ll send you a text message (SMS). If we still haven’t heard from you, we’ll call you to arrange the digital payment.

Refunds usually take 15 days. This allows any pending payments to clear and for the bank to process the refund into your account.

We’re moving away from cheques, so we mainly use Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to make digital payments. It’s faster and more reliable. If you’d like to discuss payment options for your refund, give us a call on 13 1000.

Yes, you can update your payment details for Car and Home policies easily using My Allianz. Depending on when you bought your policy, you’ll need to update your payment details in one of two different ways.

Log in to My Allianz and follow these steps:

  1. Click 'My Policies'
  2. View ‘Policy Details’
  3. Select 'View Payment Details'
  4. Update 'Payment Details'
  1. View 'My Details'
  2. Select 'Wallet'
  3. Select the policy you want to change

You can amend your vehicle or parking address online through My Allianz for policies bought after 9 September 2021 – these have a policy number that start with BC or AALMV.

Note: if you need to make these changes to policies bought before 9 September 2021, chat with us online or give us a call on 13 1000.
