Insurance and Care NSW (icare) has announced Allianz Australia Workers’ Compensation (NSW) Limited (Allianz Australia) as one of three claims management providers under its Authorised Provider model from 1 February 2020.
Allianz Australia was selected as the sole provider for the pilot of the model in 2018 and has since been working in partnership with icare to evolve the design and delivery of the Authorised Provider service.
The Authorised Provider model gives eligible employers greater choice and flexibility of their claims management services provider with services delivered consistently with the principles of icare’s claims service model.
Allianz Workers Compensation Executive General Manager, Julie Mitchell, said the appointment by icare was a testament to the success of our workers compensation teams.
