Allianz’s commitment to building a true customer-centric culture, along with a company-wide focus on innovation and investment in our people, has confirmed its position as the Large General Insurance Company of the Year at the 2016 Australian Insurance Industry Awards, announced last night.
From a highly competitive field of industry peers, Allianz has again been recognised for demonstrating best practice in innovation, employee management, financial strength and customer satisfaction across the business.
Managing Director, Allianz Australia, Niran Peiris said he was thrilled with the Award, congratulating the Allianz team for their hard work and thanking its 3 million customers.

We are always seeking to improve, and our drive to innovate and invest in people and service has been our philosophy for quite some time. We started from the inside – our own Allianz family – by investing in the development of our people, processes and systems.

Allianz now boasts an industry-leading customer satisfaction position. The Net Promoter Score (NPS)* has indicated the insurer ranks first in three of the four channels measured (Broker, Dealer, Workers Compensation and Direct).
Despite a very competitive local market, Allianz has continued to outgrow the industry with an above market GWP growth of 7.9% to a record $4.377b in 2015.

The 2016 Australian Insurance Industry Awards were co-hosted by the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and Asia Insurance Review and recognise excellence and professionalism across the insurance industry.
