A steady climb to a new high: For the eighth consecutive year, Allianz is the world’s most valuable insurance brand and has reached a record $30.7 billion in brand value, lifting it one place to #26 in Interbrand’s Best Global Brands 2026 ranking.

This 9% increase on 2025 further narrows the gap to the world’s most valuable consumer and tech brands, among them Apple, Microsoft and Coca-Cola. The upward trajectory is backed by strong business growth and financial performance as well as a global brand strategy that is built on trust and distinguished with customer relevance and care.

Shez Ford, Chief General Manager, Consumer, Allianz Australia said, “This recognition is a proud moment for Allianz and reflects the strength of a brand built on trust, care and the commitment of our people. Here in Australia, we’re proud to contribute to that global story by continuing to focus on supporting our customers and partners and being there when it matters most.”

Globally, Allianz invests in bringing human connection to products and services that help people succeed in an increasingly complex and fragmented world, including the Allianz 3am Report, Allianz School for Life, Power of Unity and Sense of Community initiatives.

In Australia, Allianz launched its ‘ Worth it when it matters most’ campaign, highlighting the care and support customers receive when making a claim and the human experience behind it. Alongside this, the Allianz Prevention Hub expanded with new research and claims insights aiming to help Australians better understand common risks to their homes and cars and the practical steps they can take to reduce them.

“Strong brands are built on trust, and for us that means delivering care beyond the policy and demonstrating real value for our customers. Our ‘Worth it when it matters most’ campaign brings that commitment to life, showing what it means to be there for customers when they need us most,” said Shez.

Sport visibly builds belonging. As Worldwide Insurance Partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Movements, Allianz helped deliver safe and secure Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 for more than 5.4 million spectators and around 2.6 billion viewers globally. The Games also marked 20 years of Allianz’s global partnership with the Paralympic Movement.

In Australia, Allianz launched its ‘ Care never gives up’ campaign, celebrating the determination, resilience and care that helps Australians get back on their feet. Allianz also marked its first season as a proud partner of the West Coast Eagles and continued its partnership with Football Australia.

These 2026 milestones build on decades of sports engagement, including more than 25 years alongside FC Bayern München, five years as a naming partner of Allianz Stadium in Australia, and support for hundreds of local sports clubs and associations across national markets. Allianz’s family of eight stadiums, with a beach volleyball arena for LA28 as its latest addition, welcomes millions of fans every year.

“Whether it’s through the care we provide our customers or the partnerships that bring people and communities together, we want Allianz to be a brand that has a meaningful place in our customers’ lives. This recognition reflects the trust we’ve built and our continued commitment to strengthening that connection not only with our customers but with all Australians,” concluded Shez.
