Terms and Conditions

 

  1.  Information on how to enter the Promotion and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”). 
  2. The Promotion commences on 29th May 2026 and closes at 12:00pm (noon) AEST on 12th June 2026 (“Promotion Period”). All references to times recorded throughout these Terms and Conditions are a reference to the local time in Sydney, New South Wales. 
  3. The promoter is Allianz Australia Insurance Limited (ABN 15 000 122 850) of 10 Carrington Street Sydney NSW 2000 (“Promoter”).
  4. Enrty into the Promotion is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over (excluding residents of the Northern Territory) who; (a) are existing Allianz customers; and (b) receive the promotional email inviting them to enter (“Entrant”). For clarity, an existing customer is any individual that holds an active Allianz policy during the Promotion Period. To be eligible to enter Entrants must be an existing policyholder and must receive the promotional email. Northern Territory residents are not eligible to enter, participate in, or win the Promotion, and any entries received from Northern Territory residents will be deemed invalid. Entry into the Promotion is not conditional on the purchase of any product or service and does not affect the terms, benefits or availability of any insurance product.
  5. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and its subsidiaries, and employees of agencies associated with this Promotion, are ineligible to enter the Promotion. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin. 
  6. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of each Entrant (including their identity, age and place of residence) and the validity of each entry and to disqualify any person who the Promoter reasonably believes has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of this Promotion. Further, any contact details provided incorrectly may be deemed by the Promoter as an invalid entry. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s reasonable discretion, having regard to fairness to all Entrants. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
  7. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
  8.  If there is a dispute as to the identity of an Entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its reasonable discretion, having regard to the information available, to determine the identity of the Entrant.
  9.  Individuals receive one (1) entry into the Promotion when, during the Promotion Period, an Entrant undertakes the following steps:

    a. Click on the link within the promotional email and access the Promotion entry page;
    b. Input the requested details, including their full name, preferred mailing address and a valid email address and mobile phone number; and then
    c. Submit the fully completed online entry form.

  10. Only one (1) entry is permitted per person. Entrants must ensure that when completing the entry form, they enter the same details associated with their Allianz policy to ensure their entry will be deemed valid for the purposes of this Promotion.
  11. The draw will take place at Anisimoff Legal, Level 3, 162 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 on 16th June 2026 at 11:00am AEST. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries in each draw and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. Winners will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the draw. Winners will have their first name, surname and postcode published online at https://www.allianz.com.au/gift-card on 29th June 2026. 
  12.  The first one hundred (100) valid entries drawn will each win a $100 fuel voucher.
  13. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the fuel voucher are not included. Any unused balance of the fuel voucher will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the fuel voucher is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the fuel voucher.
  14.  The total prize pool is $10,000.
  15. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a prize winner fails to take their prize, by the time indicated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited.
  16. If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or substantially similar value and specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
  17. If a a prize winner forfeits the prize or a prize remains unclaimed by 10:30am AEST on 30th July 2026, the Promoter will conduct a redraw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority, following the same procedure as the original draw. Redraw will take place at 11:00am AEST on 30th July 2026, at the same place as the original draw. The prize winners, if any, will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the draw. Winners (if any) will have their first name, surname and postcode published online at https://www.allianz.com.au/gift-card on 7th August 2026. Winners of a prize awarded in the redraw will have until 11:59pm AEST on 26th August 2026 to claim their prize. If a prize winner fails to claim their prize by 11:59pm AEST on 26th August 2026, the prize winner will be deemed to have forfeited the prize.
  18. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may to the extent reasonably necessary and subject to applicable laws (including any State or Territory requirements):   

    (a)  disqualify any Entrant; or
    (b)  cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize.

  19. Prizes (or any unused portion of a prize) are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
  20.  In the event of a dispute, the Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to resolve the dispute in good faith. Any decision made by the Promoter will be reasonable and made in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and applicable law.
  21. Each Entrant consents to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
  22. To the fullest extent permissible by law, the Promoter  is not responsible for any claim, loss, damage, expense (including any claim for legal expenses), cost or charge sustained or in any way incurred by an Entrant or prize winner in connection with the prize or their participation in the Promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter, its related bodies corporate, officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect, consequential or economic loss) suffered or sustained by an Entrant or the prize winner in connection with this Promotion, the promotion of this Promotion, or the use of or participation in any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Further, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes liability for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or any website, or any unauthorised intervention, or any combination thereof, including any non-delivery or corruption of entries to the Promoter, injury or damage to an Entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials related to this Promotion. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an Entrant to automatically enter into the draw repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that Entrant invalid.
  23.  Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes, or modifies, or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (Cth) or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). To the extent permitted by law, and except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a prize winner or an Entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
  24. Privacy Notice: Entry is conditional on providing the requested personal information. The Promoter’s Privacy Policy contains information about how personal information is handled. The Promoter collects, retains, uses and discloses personal information in the following ways: in the following ways:

    •  for the purposes of conducting the Promotion and any matter connected to the Promotion; and
    •  if the Entrant is a prize winner in this Promotion, for publicity purposes in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration, compensation or prior notice to the Entrant.

  25. The Promoter may disclose personal information to third parties for the above purposes, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities for the purpose of conducting this Promotion. Where an Entrant has consented, the Promoter may also use their personal information for sending offers and information, and Entrants may opt out at any time. The Promoter may disclose personal information outside of Australia, see the Privacy Policy for more details.
