Allianz’s claims team hit the ground to help after Cyclone Debbie

Brisbane: Allianz will deploy its mobile Customer Help Van to Mackay to help people make claims on the spot following extreme weather in the area.

The Customer Help Van will be at the Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre Carpark from Monday 4 April 2017 and allow customers to speak directly with consultants and lodge claims.

Allianz’s National Claims Manager, Sean Jungwirth said that the Allianz Customer Help Van allow claims experts to work with customers to assess claims as quickly as possible.

“The Allianz Customer Help Van has been deployed a number of times, over the last five years, following major weather events. As such we have mobilised our best people and sent them to site to ensure they are there, on the ground, helping the community as they start working towards recovery,” he said.

“We have extra staff on in our claims teams and in contact centres around the country to manage the high volumes of calls."

The Customer Help Van will remain in Mackay until Friday 7 April 2017.
