Allianz signs contract with Comcare

Allianz welcomes the announcement by Comcare that it is one of two private sector providers that have been successful in securing a contract as part of Comcare’s trial of alternative claims service delivery models.

Allianz will provide claims management services to the Department of Human Services during the trial.

Allianz has a long history of working with government entities, particularly in our workers compensation business, and is one of Australia’s most awarded workers compensation specialists.

Allianz’s Chief General Manager Workers Compensation, Helen Silver, said, “this new opportunity to build capability in the Comcare jurisdiction is a crucial win for Allianz and is based on our broader workers compensation claims management experience, including our claims management for the NSW Treasury Managed Fund, which provides workers compensation cover for NSW Government departments and agencies.”

Allianz has signed a 12 month contract with Comcare and the pilot will commence on 4 February 2016.
