Allianz launches new global brand advertising campaign

Campaign advertisementIt has been a few years since its last brand campaign, but 2007 sees Allianz make a high profile return to the world’s media with a new global brand advertising campaign. The new campaign was launched in global and regional TV, print, online and outdoor media across Europe, the US and the Asia-Pacific in April 2007 and will commence in Australia on 8 July. The campaign, "Allianz Moments", has the theme of "being there for customers in life’s important moments".

According to Nicholas Scofield, General Manager Corporate Affairs, “Allianz Moments is based on comprehensive information gathered about what customers really want. Research conducted by Allianz worldwide over several years has consistently elicited the same response: at decisive times in their lives, customers want a reliable partner on their side. They want service that makes them feel valued and a partner who in 30 years time will still be able to keep the promises they make today”.

The locally adapted version of the campaign that kicks off in Australia on Sunday 8 July 2007 will run until December.

“The objective of the local campaign is to demonstrate that Allianz in Australia is part of the global Allianz group, a leading financial services provider”, Mr Scofield said.

“On top of our normal product advertising, the multi-million dollar Allianz brand campaign will result in blanket Allianz advertising in Australia over the second half of 2007”, Mr Scofield added.

Highlighting a unique aspect of the global campaign Mr Scofield said, “while internationally the focus of the campaign will be on traditional media, it also uses a distinctive approach to reach high-level decision-makers in the global financial services community where they spend a lot of time: at airports!”

“Unique Allianz ‘Mini Arenas’, scale models of Munich’s Allianz Arena which hosted the Opening Ceremony and key games at last year’s Football World Cup, are being established at Munich, London, Rome, and Hong Kong airports”.

The mini Allianz Arenas feature a seating area, comfortable places to work and an interactive ‘Allianz World’. Travellers will be able to access the latest news at special ‘News to Go’ terminals, providing them with downloadable news and entertaining information about Allianz. Terminals will also be placed in airport business lounges.
