From March 2017, policy and billing activities related to NSW workers compensation policies have commenced transitioning to icare workers insurance. Allianz will continue to provide employers and their workers with claims management expertise on behalf of icare.

New Policies
New policies will need to be taken out directly with icare from 01 March 2017.

You can still contact our Broker Express team on 02 8258 5400 or email brokerexpress@allianz.com.au for assistance with taking out a new policy and selecting Allianz as the preferred claims manager.

Alternatively, you can take out a new policy directly with icare and nominate Allianz as the scheme agent for claims management. Click to go to the icare portal

Please note that to be the registered broker on a policy, icare requires a Letter of Appointment (LOA) which you can email to wibrokers@icare.nsw.gov.au.


Existing policies will be transitioned to icare from 30 April 2017. icare will make direct contact with employers in the lead up to their renewal date to provide all the information they will need in order to renew their policy.

Allianz will continue to process wage adjustments for policies written prior to 30 April 2017.
