Allianz Australia staff recognised at the icare CASE Awards

Allianz Australia congratulates Alexandra Galassi and its Northern Regional Workers' Compensation Claims Team for their recognition at the icare Care and Service Excellence (CASE) Awards in Sydney last night.

The 5th annual CASE Awards celebrate those making outstanding, positive contributions in the workers' compensation industry across NSW.

Alexandra Galassi, Senior Injury Management Specialist in the Workers' Compensation team was named as Young Professional of the Year in the Care and Service category. Alexandra was recognised for keeping the customer at the heart of her work by successfully driving process improvements, innovations and cultural transformation for her team in psychological claims management.

Allianz’s Northern Regional Workers' Compensation Claims Team was recognised as Outstanding Team of the Year, for their consistent care and empathy. Customer feedback shows how the team has been able to increase ease and convenience; consistency and trust – the key pillars that support workers’ journeys back to health.

Commenting on the recognition, Mark Pittman, Allianz Australia’s General Manager for Workers' Compensation, Government Services said: “It is an incredibly important part of our role to support vulnerable injured workers and I sincerely congratulate Alex and our Northern Regional Workers' Compensation Claims Team on their genuine commitment to achieving the best outcome for those in need.

“I am extremely proud to have some of our sector’s highest performers on our team. It is thanks to the work of people like Alex and our Northern Regional Workers' Compensation Claims Team that we remain at the forefront of service and continue to keep the customer at the centre of everything we do.”

In accepting her award, Alexandra said: “I’m honoured to be part of an industry and a team that is making positive contributions to the community in an area as important as mental health. I love what I do, and I hope to continue to make positive contributions to achieve mentally healthy workplaces and communities.
