The new Allianz API Marketplace is on the way

Danielle Moussa: Hi, I am here with Conor today from our digital team to talk a little bit more about the things that are coming up in our digital space.

So innovation obviously is super critical when it comes to driving a great customer experience and partner experience.

Can you tell us a little bit more about the API Marketplace?

Conor Dallas: The API Marketplace has been in development now for close to a year, and what we're really doing is bringing all of our APIs into the one place.

So one of the problems that we have, um, at the moment is how can partners test those APIs in a real world scenario.

So the sandbox will allow those partners to really test, um, our APIs, our capabilities, and then, uh, ingest that uh, functionality into their own ecosystem.

Danielle Moussa: So what would you say to partners and potential partners who have not yet begun their journey to integrate some of our tools into their business?

Conor Dallas: We are really focusing on two components, time to market and um, the cost of integrating as well.

So cost of integrating and time we know for our partners is, uh, very valuable.

So if we can reduce that, um, that that's really the main purpose of the API Marketplace.

Danielle Moussa: So is there anything you can tell our partners about any upcoming projects that might be happening in the digital space?

Conor Dallas: So we will actually double our APIs over the next 12 months.

Danielle Moussa: Fantastic.

Conor Dallas: Uh, and what we are looking to do is bring our quote, bind and payment, uh, platform and how do we integrate that into our partner ecosystem.

So, uh, a lot of work happening over the next 12 months.

But um, yeah, some really exciting things to come.

Danielle Moussa:  Really great to hear Conor and hopefully our partners will absolutely love this.
