How we help

Feel understood, supported and protected with Allianz

At Allianz, we know life can change without warning, which is why we promise to be by your side when you need us most. Since 1890, we’ve been using our expertise to allow our customers to move with confidence worldwide.

Whether you’re making a claim, considering insurance cover for your home or experiencing hardship, we’re here to provide the support you need at every stage of your life. If you’re in need of support, give us a call on 13 10 00.

Although extreme weather is a part of life in Australia, it doesn’t mean we can’t be prepared. We’ve been helping people do this, as well as getting back on their feet after adverse events, for over a century.
We’re all likely to experience vulnerability at some point in our lives. This vulnerability may result from life events, such as an illness, natural disaster, or loss of income. Other factors may be longer term – such as a disability or financial distress.

We’re committed to supporting customers through these tough times with respect, flexibility, dignity and care. This means we’ll make reasonable adjustments and put in place appropriate support to take account of these needs and provide access to flexible options.

We aim to provide you with flexibility, choice, and control. We support you with administration tasks and help you make efficient use of your NDIS funds.
If you’re experiencing family or domestic violence, we’re here to support you with compassion, respect, flexibility and care. Find out about the support we can offer you through our Family Violence Policy.
We have policies and training for employees to help them identify if you’re experiencing financial hardship and decide how we may be able to provide support to you.
Coping with the loss of a loved one is one of life's biggest challenges. We've created a guide to take you through the steps to manage any insurance policies you have, so you have more space to grieve.
Have you received an email from us that looks suspicious? If you think you've been sent a scam email, don’t click on any links, delete the email, and report it to us immediately.
We offer free, confidential counselling support to our customers, distribution partners and their families who have been affected by a natural catastrophic event.

Interpreter services

We have an interpreter service available in more than 160 languages. To discuss your insurance needs in a language other than English, give us a call. Our consultant will find you an interpreter in your preferred language where possible.

We understand you might be experiencing difficult circumstances, and we’re ready to provide you with support during this time. Contact us to find out more. If you need support from someone else such as a lawyer, consumer representative, interpreter, family member or friend, let us know and we’ll do our best to help. Always call 000 if you or your family are in immediate danger.

If you’re in need of financial support, your bank may be able to help provide relief for your mortgage payments or support you in other ways. If you’re finding it tough to pay your bills, give your utility company a call. They may also be able to help.

Even if we’re unable to help you, there are a range of support services out there that will be able to. No matter your situation, don’t hesitate to reach out to the following organisations.
