As a tenant, it is difficult to know what home insurance product is best suited to you. This is where our SureCover Renters insurance can help. You want to protect your belongings and Allianz has a range of cover options to choose from. Our Renters insurance policy protects your contents from loss or damage caused by one or more of the insured events, including fire or smoke or theft, to name just a few. There is also a range of other benefits such as cover for contents left in the open air; protection for your guests, visitors and domestic helper’s contents; and legal liability cover up to a maximum amount of $10,000,000.

Insurance cover with an additional range of benefits
We understand you may want additional benefits such as increased cover limit for loss or theft of credit cards; fusion cover if your fridge motor burns out; legal liability cover up to a maximum amount of $20,000,000, on top of the SureCover Renters Insurance policy. Home Insurance Cover for accidental loss or damage
As well as the benefits highlighted above we understand that you may want further cover for accidental damage to your contents. For example, if you unintentionally spill a glass of red wine onto your pure wool carpet, you can relax knowing that Allianz has you covered under the SureCover Gold Renters insurance policy. Other additional benefits unique to this policy include legal defence costs and cover for damage to your contents while in transit.

Personal effects cover
Anywhere in Australia all year round and for up to 35 days in anyone period of insurance when overseas Allianz can provide cover for your personal effects against accidental loss or damage.
Domestic workers' compensation (not available in all states and territories of Australia)
Get back the amount you are liable to pay if a domestic worker gets injured while being employed and working for you. The amount we will pay is subject to the relevant workers' compensation legislation for your state. Also note we will not pay for workers who are working for you in your own business, trade or profession.

Please refer to SureCover, SureCover Plus and SureCover Gold Policy Documents (Product Disclosure Statements) for full details of contents with specified limits of cover that you should specify in your policy schedule.
- I'm moving into a new flat with a group of friends - will you insure us?
Yes, we will insure you and your friends subject to underwriting guidelines, however all owners/occupants must be listed on the policy. We will insure a maximum of three (3) unrelated people.
- I have changed the security on my property - do I need to let you know?
If you are altering the security on your property you should inform us as it may change the conditions of your insurance. You may also be eligible for a discount.
