FI Car insurance Promotion – Free 12-month Allianz Global Assistance Roadside Assistance

Terms and Conditions

  1. The Promotion commences at 12.00 am AEST on 1 August 2011 and closes at 11.59 pm AEST on 31 October 2011 (“Promotion Period”). The Promoter is Allianz Australia Insurance Limited (AFS Licence No: 234708, ABN 15 000 122 850) Level 12, 2 Market Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000 (“Promoter”).
  2. Participation in this Promotion is available only on the terms and conditions set out below.
  3. Participation in the Promotion is only open to Australian residents who during the Promotion Period purchase a new Allianz Comprehensive Car Insurance Policy through participating Financial Institution agents of Allianz during the promotion period. A complete list of participating financial institution agents is available from allianz.com.au/RSAparticipants. Renewals of existing policies are not eligible. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to participate in the Promotion unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing by the Promoter. This Promotion only applies to those vehicles which are attached to the new Allianz Comprehensive Car Insurance Policy no other vehicles owned by the customer are eligible.
  4. Each eligible customer who purchases a new Allianz Comprehensive Car Insurance Policy through participating financial institution agents of Allianz in accordance with Clause 5 will be awarded one (1) one (1) year membership to the Allianz Global Assistance Roadside Assistance Standard Plan (Membership).   5. To be eligible for Membership, a customer must during the Promotion Period purchase a new Allianz Comprehensive Car Insurance Policy through participating financial institution agents of Allianz. Activation of the Membership is dependent upon and takes place upon receipt in full of the premium for the insurance policy or receipt of the first month’s premium if paying by the month, but no earlier than commencement of the new Allianz Comprehensive Car Insurance Policy. If the customer has not paid their premium (or the first instalment of premium if paying by the month) within 30 days of entering into the new Allianz Comprehensive Car Insurance Policy they will not be eligible for the road side assistance.
  6. The Membership is allocated to the vehicle(s) listed on the insurance policy schedule. The Membership is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.The recipient will be sent details of their Membership by Allianz Global Assistance within six (6) weeks of the payment of the new policy, to the Recipient’s address within Australia as provided by the Recipient to the Promoter at the time of purchasing the Allianz Comprehensive Car Insurance Policy. The Promoter takes no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected mail.
  7. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the customer’s Membership if the policy is cancelled either mid-term or during the cooling-off period. Terms and conditions of the Promotion are subject to change without prior notice.
  8. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of each claim for assistance under the Membership. Further, any contact details provided incorrectly over the telephone may be deemed by the Promoter to invalidate any request for assistance under the Membership.
  9. By entering this Promotion, unless otherwise advised by the Customer, each Customer consents to the retention and use of his/her information by the Promoter. For details about who we are, how we may use your information and what your rights are under the privacy laws, please see our Privacy Policy, which is available from Allianz Australia Insurance Ltd. Uses may include future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant, or distribution of marketing materials for goods or services in the insurance industry from the Promoter or from companies in the insurance industry in which the Promoter holds shares. From time to time we may send you information or offers on other Allianz products, which may be relevant and of interest to you.
