Understanding Theft Cover

The operation of your business relies on the things you invest in. If your business experiences theft, you may have to stop trading and it's likely you will face financial loss.

Insured property (business contents, customers’ goods and stock) at your business premises can be covered by theft insurance. If theft is committed by a person concealed in your business premises or following assault or an armed hold-up, you can be eligible for additional financial protection.

What is covered?

Theft of Property Insured (including contents, stock and customers’ goods) contained on Your Business Premises.

Conditions and limits placed on the cover of certain goods, including tobacco.

Features and Benefits

• Covers theft resulting from person concealed in business premises or following assault or armed hold-up
• Covers theft resulting from forced entry
• Covers damage to buildings and fixtures, replacement of locks, and the interim protection of premises if necessary
• Covers theft that has occurred without forcible or violent entry
• Up to $25,000 of rewriting of stolen business records

Options

Choose cover for theft of contents from

• $3000, $5000, $10,000 and $20,000
• optional tobacco cover of either $3000 or $5000
