Allianz Australia has been recognised as an Employer of Choice for Women by the Equal Opportunity for Women Agency (EOWA) for the third year.
Allianz started submitting an application to the agency in 2008 and has again been successful in receiving this citation. This citation is awarded to “non-government organisations that have demonstrated they have policies and practices supporting women across the organisation, achieving positive outcomes for both women and the business”.
Over 2500 organisations report to EOWA each year and Allianz is proud to be one of the 98 organisations to achieve this status for 2011.

Our range of career development opportunities available for women in the workplace including training programs, job relief and job placement opportunities and accelerated development programs.
Our approach to employees going on maternity leave - with up to seven weeks' company paid maternity leave, twelve months maternity leave with the option to extend to 24 months, as well as the ability to purchase additional leave. Our Keep In Touch program was also recognised for the way we keep our employees informed whilst they are on maternity leave.
The types of leave and benefits available for employees, including the ability to purchase additional leave, paternity and adoption leave, family and emergency leave, tools to assist employees with work/life balance, child care referral services and the Employee Assistance Program.
